NFL Unveils 'Concussion Simulators' In Arenas
AMERICA — NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell, announced a new in-arena fan experience for the 2023-2024 regular season. In partnership with EA Games, fans will get to experience what it’s like to be their favourite player when they step into a full-contact ‘Concussion Simulator’. Fans will put on regulation football helmets and rest their heads into cattle feed troughs. On the sound of a whistle, a 300-pound hydraulic-powered titanium plate will smash their head at 30mph. “These simulators are apart of our legacy entertainment initiatives. After using one of these bad boys, we hope fans will have traumatic brain injury in 20-30 years just like our players,” concluded Goodell.
